Dr. Susovan Patra is a fellowship-trained Pain Physician specializing in Interventional Pain Medicine and chronic pain management. With over 9 years of experience, he is dedicated to providing non-surgical, evidence-based solutions for a wide range of pain conditions. He is the founder and consultant at Remedia Pain Relief Clinic, where he offers advanced interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, and targeted injections for precise pain relief. Dr. Patra’s expertise includes back pain, sciatica, neck pain, joint pain, neuropathic pain, migraine, and cancer-related pain etc. His approach focuses on accurate diagnosis, minimally invasive treatments, and personalized care to improve quality of life.

He completed his MBBS from Nilratan Sirkar Medical College, Kolkata MD in Anaesthesiology from Medical College, Kolkata, followed by a Fellowship in Pain Management from the ESI Institute of Pain Management. He is highly trained in C-arm guided procedures, ultrasound-guided pain interventions, nerve blocks, and palliative care, with additional clinical exposure at CNCI in Palliative Care Department and SSKM Hospital in Rheumatology Department. He Also served as Senior Resident Department of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine Purulia Govt Medical College & House Physician Department of General Medicine NRS Medical College .

Currently, he is working as a Consultant Pain Specialist and Palliative Care Doctor at Medella Karkinos Oncology Institute and BP Poddar Hospital etc. He is also the Co-Founder of Remedia Pain Relief Clinic, a specialized center for comprehensive pain management, back pain treatment, joint pain therapy, and cancer pain relief etc.

Dr. Patra has a keen academic interest and has presented research on ARDS treatment and lung ultrasound in critically ill patients. He has completed certifications in Evidence-Based Diabetes Management and Palliative Care, further strengthening his holistic approach to patient treatment.

With a strong focus on improving quality of life, Dr. Patra provides expert care in chronic pain treatment, cancer pain management, palliative care, ICU care, and advanced pain procedures, helping patients return to a healthier, pain-free life.
